LLOPART

For centuries, the Llopart family combined the cultivation of traditional Mediterranean products: vines, wheat and olives.

It was at the end of the 18th century when the Llopart family decided to dedicate themselves exclusively to winegrowing, as was the case throughout the Penedès region.

The Gran Reserva tour is a walk through the history of Llopart.

It begins with a visit to the LLopart family’s private farmhouse, inherited by Bernardus Leopardi in the 14th century. Over the centuries, the cellar of the farmhouse became the place where the first bottle of Llopart sparkling wine was made in 1887. In this unique place we offer a breakfast, aperitif or snack of local gastronomy together with a tasting of the sparkling wine Llopart Original Gran Reserva 1887.

The tour continues with a visit to one of the oldest vineyards, the “Vinya del Paulino“. A vineyard with vines 75 years old.

We will then go inside our cellars where we will learn about the process of making Llopart wines and sparkling wines. During this tour we will have the opportunity to taste 3 of the Gran Reserva sparkling wines, winners of the most prestigious awards.
